Economics is Groovy

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, check-in, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Yes, he is blue, he is groovy, and he is cool. Primary students love that blue cat named Pete and they will enjoy learning ELA, Math, Science and Economic standards through trade books that focus on his adventures. This is a unit that includes teacher created worksheets and assessments that can be instantly uploaded into Google Classroom for traditional, hybrid, or virtual students to complete. A copy can be made and easily differentiated for students and/or grade levels. Some of the books used are: "Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party;" "Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes" "Pete the Cat Secret Agent;" "Pete the Cat Out of this World;" "Pete the Cat Cool Cat Boogie;" "Pete the Cat - A Pet for Pete;" "Pete the Cat and the Tip Top Treehouse;" "Pete the Cat Robo Pet;" "Pete the Cat's Grocery Bake Sale;" and "Pete the Cat at the Super Market." A multitude of economic concepts are taught and an added bonus is the inclusion of Engineering and STEM activities. Students will not look at another Pete the Cat book without discerning the economics they see within its cover. Isn't that GROOVY?
